The EGO-X exhaust system for the Cupra Ateca, including the facelift model, delivers maximum sound, high-quality workmanship and a precise fit. Its large 3.5″ (89 mm) pipe diameter and flow-optimised design produce a powerful, sporty sound without compromise. The system is manufactured using precise TIG welding and features hand-built absorption silencers.

Valve system
This EGO-X exhaust system is equipped with an electronically controlled exhaust valve. The sound level can be adjusted according to the selected driving mode: refined for everyday use and uncompromising when open. It provides a balanced combination of driveability and performance.

Road use: ECE approval applies only when using the Bull-X Tronic control unit with ECE approval together with an EG-approved catalytic converter. Other control units and/or catalytic converters are intended for track use only.
Note: On the version without ECE approval, the valve can be controlled via a switch, remote control or Bull-X Tronic “Race” CAN bus control unit. If the vehicle has selectable driving profiles, control via the Sport mode is also possible; vehicles without this function use the supplied switch. With the ECE version, the Bull-X Tronic control unit automatically operates the valve during driving in accordance with the ECE requirements.

Approval
Only the version marked “road legal” has a European ECE / EC approval (Bull-X Tronic controller with ECE or the HJS EC catalytic converter). Versions marked “no ECE, track use only” have no approval and are not permitted for road use. If in doubt about the version, contact us and we will check for you.
Exhaust tips
This exhaust system requires exhaust tips, which are not included in the price. Choose them from the Bull-X tips in our shop and add them to your basket; if unsure which fit, contact us.
