EGO-X 3.5″ exhaust system for Mercedes A45, CLA45 and GLA45 AMG 381 PS

This EGO-X exhaust system for the 381 PS Mercedes-Benz 45 AMG is hand-made using TIG welding. The pipe diameter is 3.5 inches (89 mm).

Operation with ECE approval

The ECE-approved version applies only when selecting »Bull-X Tronic control unit (with ECE approval)«. The control unit allows Comfort or Sport mode to be selected. If the vehicle has drive profile selection, it can be used for control; vehicles without this function use the supplied button. The button’s LED indicates the valve status: the light is off when the valve is open and illuminated when it is closed.

• Sport (Dynamic, Race): while driving, the valve remains open within the permitted ECE range; when stationary, it remains closed.
• Comfort mode: the valve remains closed, but opens while driving within the permitted ECE range from 75% throttle opening.

Operation without ECE approval

When controlled via a switch, remote control or Bull-X Tronic »Race« CAN-bus control unit, ECE approval does not apply. If the vehicle has drive profile selection, it can be used for control; otherwise, the supplied button is used. If the Bull-X Tronic control unit is fitted, the valve can still be opened while stationary, while during driving the control unit regulates it according to ECE criteria.

• Sport (Dynamic, Race): the valve is open.
• Comfort mode: the valve opens from 75% throttle opening.

Road use: For use on public roads, only the combination with the ECE Bull-X Tronic control unit and an EG-approved catalytic converter is homologated. All other control and catalytic converter combinations are intended exclusively for track use.

Suitable for: Mercedes-Benz A45 Amg I (W176), Mercedes-Benz Cla Class I (X117), Mercedes-Benz Cla I (C117), Mercedes-Benz Gla Class I (X156).
