The EGO-X exhaust system for the Volkswagen Arteon R Shooting Brake is a high-performance system with a 3.5″ diameter. It is hand-built from stainless steel and equipped with modern electric valve technology.
The system was specifically developed for the powerful 2.0 TSI engine producing 320 PS. It combines a powerful sporting sound, high-quality stainless steel workmanship and precise fitment with an attractive performance appearance. TIG-welded construction and hand-built chamberless absorption silencers provide a sporty sound character.

Exhaust tip options
Two exhaust tip solutions are available for this exhaust system:
Option 1: OEM exhaust tips
This option uses the original factory exhaust tips. They must be cut off and re-welded.
Option 2: universal HG exhaust tips, 145 × 90 mm
- 4 exhaust tips measuring 145 × 90 mm
- Connection via a 63 mm ball joint
- Available in stainless steel or carbon
The exhaust tips can be selected according to the preferred appearance and material.
Valve system
The EGO-X exhaust system is equipped with an electric exhaust valve. The SBS motor is included in the package. When the ECE version is selected, the Bull-X Tronic control unit is also supplied. It controls the valve automatically in accordance with ECE requirements.

Road use: The version with the Bull-X Tronic control unit has ECE approval and is intended for legal use on public roads. Other versions are intended exclusively for track use.
