EGO-X 3.5″ exhaust system for VW Golf 5 R32 / Golf 6 R

This EGO-X exhaust system with centre silencer (MSD) for the VW Golf 5 R32 / Golf 6 R is manufactured with 3.5″ (89 mm) pipework. The centre silencer has a diameter of 3″ (76 mm).

ECE-approved version

ECE approval applies only when selecting the Bull-X Tronic control unit with ECE approval. During driving, you can choose between Comfort and Sport modes. If the vehicle has drive profile selection, the valve can be controlled through this system; vehicles without drive profile selection use the supplied button. The button’s LED indicates the valve status: the light is off when the valve is open and on when it is closed.

• Sport (Dynamic, Race): within the scope permitted by the ECE requirements, the valve remains open while driving. When stationary, it is always closed.
• Comfort: the valve remains closed and opens while driving within the ECE-approved range once the throttle is 75% open.

Versions without ECE approval

When using the separate switch, remote control or Bull-X Tronic “Race” CAN bus control unit, ECE approval does not apply. If the vehicle has drive profile selection, this function can also be used; vehicles without it use the supplied button. The valve can be operated in Sport (Dynamic, Race) and Comfort modes; in Comfort mode it opens at 75% throttle opening.

Road use: Only the version with the Bull-X Tronic control unit with ECE approval and an EG-approved catalytic converter is suitable for use on public roads. All other control units and/or catalytic converters are intended exclusively for track use.

Suitable for: VW Golf V (1K) / VI (5K1).
