EGO-X 3.5″ exhaust system for VW Golf 7 R Facelift 310 PS

This hand-built EGO-X exhaust system without ECE approval is designed for the VW Golf 7 R Facelift. The pipe diameter is 3.5″ (89 mm).

If the vehicle has selectable driving profiles, or a Sport button, the valve can also be controlled using this switch. If the vehicle does not have selectable driving profiles, control is possible using the button included in the package. Its LED indicator shows the current valve position: the valve is open when the light is off and closed when the light is on.

If the Bull-X Tronic control unit is purchased, the valve can still be opened while the vehicle is stationary. During driving, however, the control unit regulates the exhaust valve in accordance with ECE guidelines. The Bull-X Tronic generally offers two control modes:

• Sport (Dynamic, Race)
• Comfort (the valve opens from 75% throttle position)

Road use: This exhaust system does not have ECE approval and is intended for track use. According to the manufacturer, road use is permitted only with the EG-approved HJS catalytic converter; all other listed catalytic converters and decat pipes are intended exclusively for racing use.
