EGO-X 3.5″ exhaust system for VW Golf V R32 250 PS

This EGO-X Race exhaust system for the VW Golf 5 R32 is hand-built. The pipe diameter is 3.5″ (89 mm). The complete system consists of absorption silencers without chambers and is manufactured using TIG welding.

The exhaust system is suitable for standard vehicles as well as vehicles with tuned engines. If the vehicle has selectable driving profiles or a sport button, the valve can also be controlled through this system. If the vehicle does not have selectable driving profiles, control is possible via the supplied switch. The switch’s LED indicates the valve position: when the light is off, the valve is open; when it is on, the valve is closed.

If you purchase the Bull-X Tronic control unit, the valve can still be opened while the vehicle is stationary, while the control unit regulates the exhaust valve during driving in accordance with ECE guidelines. Bull-X Tronic offers two control options:

• Sport mode (Dynamic, Race)
• Comfort mode (the valve opens from 75% throttle position)

Road use: This race exhaust system is not approved for use on public roads. Of the catalytic converters and decat pipes offered, only the HJS catalytic converter with EG approval is permitted for road use; all other versions are intended solely for track use.
