EGO-X 3.5″ exhaust system for VW T-Roc R 300 PS (ECE)

This EGO-X exhaust system for the T-Roc R is hand-built using TIG welding and features absorption silencers without chambers. The pipe diameter is 3.5 inches (89 mm).

During driving, you can choose between Comfort and Sport modes. If the vehicle has selectable driving profiles, the valve can be controlled through this function. For vehicles without selectable driving profiles, a switch is supplied. The switch’s LED indicates the valve position: the light is off when the valve is open and on when it is closed.

The Bull-X Tronic control unit automatically closes the valve in all areas required by the homologation conditions, regardless of the selected driving mode.

Bull-X Tronic control unit operation

• Sport (Dynamic, Race): within the permitted ECE operating range, the valve remains open while driving. When stationary and at speeds of 20–80 km/h, the valve remains closed.
• Comfort: the valve remains closed, but opens while driving within the permitted ECE operating range when the throttle is at least 75% open.

Versions without ECE approval can be operated using a switch, remote control or the Bull-X Tronic »Race« CAN-Bus control unit. If the vehicle has selectable driving profiles, the valve can also be controlled through this function.

Road use: Only the version with the ECE-approved Bull-X Tronic control unit and an approved EG catalytic converter is suitable for use on public roads. All other combinations of controls and catalytic converters are intended exclusively for track use.

Approval

Only the version marked “road legal” has a European ECE / EC approval (Bull-X Tronic controller with ECE or the HJS EC catalytic converter). Versions marked “no ECE, track use only” have no approval and are not permitted for road use. If in doubt about the version, contact us and we will check for you.

Exhaust tips

This exhaust system requires exhaust tips, which are not included in the price. Choose them from the Bull-X tips in our shop and add them to your basket; if unsure which fit, contact us.
