This EGO-X exhaust system for the Tiguan R is hand-fabricated using the TIG welding process and features absorption silencers without chambers. The pipe diameter is 3.5″ (89 mm).

The exhaust system features an electric valve. The SBS motor is included.
Road use: ECE approval applies only to the version with the Bull-X Tronic control unit with ECE approval and an EG catalytic converter. This combination is intended for use on public roads. Versions with other control units and/or catalytic converters are intended for track use only.
With the ECE version, you can choose between Comfort and Sport modes while driving. If the vehicle has drive profile selection, the valve can be controlled through it. For vehicles without drive profile selection, the supplied button is used. The button’s LED indicates the valve status: the light is off when the valve is open and on when it is closed.
The control unit automatically closes the valve in all areas where this is required by the ECE regulations, regardless of the selected driving mode.
Sport mode (Dynamic, Race): within the permitted ECE range, the valve is always open. When stationary and at speeds of 20–80 km/h, the valve is always closed.
Comfort mode: the valve is always closed, but opens while driving within the permitted ECE range when the throttle is at least 75% open.
For versions without ECE approval, the valve can be controlled via a switch, remote control or the Bull-X Tronic “Race” CAN-Bus control unit. If the vehicle has drive profile selection or a Sport button, this can also be used for control. For vehicles without drive profile selection, the supplied button with LED status indication is used.
The Bull-X Tronic control unit allows the valve to be opened when stationary, while regulating it according to ECE regulations during driving. The available modes are Sport (Dynamic, Race) and Comfort, in which the valve opens when the throttle is at least 75% open.
Suitable for: VW Tiguan II (AD1).
