EGO-X 3.5″ exhaust system with ECE valve for Golf 8 R Variant and Cupra Leon KL ST 4WD

This EGO-X exhaust system for the Golf 8 R Variant and Cupra Leon KL ST 4WD is hand-built using TIG welding and features absorption silencers without chambers. The pipe diameter is 3.5 inches (89 mm).

Exhaust valve control

On vehicles with selectable driving profiles, the valve can be controlled via the selected driving profile. On vehicles without selectable driving profiles, a supplied button is used for control. The button’s LED indicates the valve status: the valve is open when the light is off and closed when the light is on.

The Bull-X Tronic control unit provides two operating modes:

• Sport (Dynamic, Race): within the limits of the ECE approval, the valve remains open while driving. It is always closed when stationary and at speeds between 20 and 80 km/h.
• Comfort: the valve remains closed, but opens while driving within the limits of the ECE approval once the throttle is at least 75% open.

Road use: ECE approval applies only to the exhaust system combined with the Bull-X Tronic control unit with ECE approval and an EG catalytic converter. Other control units and/or catalytic converters are intended solely for track use and are not permitted for use on public roads.

Suitable for: Cupra Leon IV (KL1), VW Golf VIII (CG5).
