EGO-X 3″ ECE exhaust system for Seat Leon 5F ST Cupra 300, Skoda Octavia 5E RS 245

This EGO-X exhaust system for the Seat Leon Cupra ST 300 and Skoda Octavia RS 245 is hand-finished using TIG welding. It consists of absorption silencers without chambers. The pipe diameter is 3″ (76 mm).

With ECE approval

ECE approval applies only when selecting the Bull-X Tronic control unit with ECE approval. In combination with an EG-approved catalytic converter, this version is intended for use on public roads.

During driving, you can choose between Comfort and Sport modes. If the vehicle has drive profile selection, the system can be controlled through this function. Vehicles without drive profile selection use the supplied button. Its LED indicates the valve status: the valve is open when the light is off and closed when the light is on.

The control unit automatically closes the valve in all operating ranges required by the ECE approval conditions, regardless of the selected driving mode.

• Sport (Dynamic, Race): within the conditions of the ECE approval, the valve remains open. The valve is always closed when stationary and between 20–80 km/h.
• Comfort: the valve remains closed, but opens during driving within the conditions of the ECE approval when the throttle is at least 75% open.

Without ECE approval

This section applies to the three other control options: exhaust valve control via switch, exhaust valve control via remote control and the Bull-X Tronic “Race” Can-Bus control unit.

If the vehicle has drive profile selection or a Sport button, the system can also be controlled through this function. Vehicles without drive profile selection use the supplied button. Its LED indicates the valve status: the valve is open when the light is off and closed when the light is on.

If the Bull-X Tronic control unit is purchased separately, the valve can still be opened while stationary, but during driving the control unit regulates the exhaust valve according to the ECE conditions. In Sport (Dynamic, Race) mode, the valve is open within the permitted range, while in Comfort mode it opens at 75% throttle opening or above.

Road use: Versions without ECE approval are intended for racing use only. Public-road use is intended only for the combination of the Bull-X Tronic control unit with ECE approval and an EG-approved catalytic converter.

Suitable for: SEAT Leon III (5F1), Škoda Octavia III (5E3) / III (5E5/5E6).
