Valve control
On vehicles equipped with drive profile selection, the valve can be controlled through this function. For vehicles without drive profile selection, a supplied button is used for control. The button’s LED indicates the valve status: the light being off means the valve is open, while the light being on means it is closed.
The Bull-X Tronic control unit provides two operating modes:
- Sport (Dynamic, Race): within the limits of the ECE approval, the valve remains open while driving and is always closed when stationary.
- Comfort: the valve remains closed, but opens while driving within the limits of the ECE approval once the throttle is opened to 75% or more.
Road use: ECE approval applies only to the version with the Bull-X Tronic control unit (with ECE approval) and an EG catalytic converter. This combination is approved for use on public roads. Versions with other control methods and/or other catalytic converters are intended for track use only.
Suitable for: Audi TT II (8J).

Approval
Only the version marked “road legal” has a European ECE / EC approval (Bull-X Tronic controller with ECE or the HJS EC catalytic converter).
