This EGO-X exhaust system for the Ford Focus Mk.4 ST is hand-built using TIG welding and features absorption silencers without chambers. The pipe diameter is 3″ (76 mm).

ECE-approved version: ECE approval applies only when selecting the option »Bull-X Tronic control unit (with ECE approval)«. If the vehicle has drive profile selection, the valve can be controlled through the Comfort and Sport modes. For vehicles without drive profile selection, a supplied button is provided. Its LED indicates the valve status: the light is off when the valve is open and on when it is closed.
In Sport mode (Dynamic, Race), the valve remains open while driving within the limits of the ECE approval, but is always closed when stationary and at speeds between 20–80 km/h. In Comfort mode, the valve remains closed and opens during driving, within the approved operating range, when the throttle is opened by 75% or more.
Version without ECE approval: With control via a switch, remote control or the Bull-X Tronic »Race« Can-Bus control unit, the valve can be operated through the drive profile selection or the supplied button. This version is intended exclusively for use on the race track.
Road use: Legal use on public roads requires the Bull-X Tronic control unit with ECE approval together with an EG-approved catalytic converter. Other control options and catalytic converters are intended for race-track use only.
Suitable for: Ford Focus IV (DEH).
