EGO-X 3″ exhaust system for MINI Cooper S, JCW F56

This EGO-X exhaust system for MINI Cooper S and JCW F56 models is hand-built using the TIG welding process. It consists of absorption silencers without chambers. The pipe diameter is 3 inches (76 mm).

Note: Please check the vehicle registration document in field U.1. The system is not approved for vehicles with a stationary noise level of 81 dB. It is suitable only for vehicles with 86 dB or more, such as the JCW with 91 dB.

Road use: ECE approval applies only when the Bull-X Tronic control unit with ECE approval is selected. In combination with the Bull-X Tronic controller and an EG catalytic converter, the system is permitted for use on public roads. Other control and/or catalytic converter configurations are intended exclusively for competition use.

Operation with ECE approval

During driving, you can choose between Comfort and Sport modes. If the vehicle has selectable driving profiles, the valve can be controlled through this function. For vehicles without selectable driving profiles, a switch is supplied for control. Its LED indicates the valve status: the light being off means the valve is open, while the light being on means it is closed.

The control unit automatically closes the valve in all areas required by the ECE conditions, regardless of the selected driving mode.

• Sport (Dynamic, Race): within the approved ECE range, the valve is always open; when stationary, it is always closed.
• Comfort: the valve is always closed, but opens while driving within the approved ECE range from 75% throttle opening.

Versions without ECE approval

When controlled by a switch, remote control or Bull-X Tronic »Race« Can-Bus control unit, the system is intended for competition use only. If the vehicle has selectable driving profiles, the valve can also be controlled through them. For vehicles without this function, a switch is supplied; its LED indicates whether the valve is open or closed.

Suitable for: MINI Mini III (F56).
