Version with ECE approval
When selecting the Bull-X Tronic control unit (with ECE approval), the valve is controlled in accordance with ECE requirements. During driving, you can choose between Comfort and Sport mode. If the vehicle has a drive profile selection system, it can also be used for control. Vehicles without drive profile selection can use the supplied button. Its LED indicates the valve position: the light is off when the valve is open and on when it is closed.
The control unit automatically closes the valve in all operating ranges required by the ECE regulations, regardless of the selected driving mode.
- Sport (Dynamic, Race): within the permitted ECE range, the valve is always open while driving. When stationary, it is always closed.
- Comfort: the valve remains closed, but opens while driving within the permitted ECE range from 75% throttle opening.
Version without ECE approval
When selecting control via switch, remote control or the Bull-X Tronic “Race” Can-Bus control unit, the valve can be operated using the selected control method or the supplied button. This version is intended exclusively for use on the racetrack.
Road use: ECE approval applies only when the Bull-X Tronic control unit with ECE approval is selected and the system is used with an EG catalytic converter. All other control versions and catalytic converters are intended exclusively for racing use.
Suitable for: Škoda Octavia III (5E3) / III (5E5/5E6).
