This EGO-X exhaust system for the VW Golf 7 GTI facelift Performance 245 and TCR, as well as the Seat Leon Cupra 5F 290, is hand-fabricated using TIG welding. It consists of absorption silencers without chambers. The pipe diameter is 3″ (76 mm).
The exhaust system is non-resonated and has no front or centre silencer, allowing it to deliver a pronounced sound with the valve open.

Valve control
On vehicles with drive profile selection, the valve can be controlled via the selected profile. On vehicles without this function, control is provided by the supplied button. The button’s LED indicates the valve status: the light is off when the valve is open and on when it is closed.
The Bull-X Tronic control unit provides two control modes:
- Sport (Dynamic, Race): within the ECE approval parameters, the valve remains open, but is always closed between 20 and 80 km/h. It may also remain open when stationary, as this exhaust system does not exceed the stationary noise level stated in the vehicle documents with the valve open.
- Comfort: the valve remains closed, but opens during driving within the ECE approval parameters once the throttle is at least 75% open.
Road use: ECE approval applies only when using the Bull-X Tronic control unit with ECE approval and an EG-approved catalytic converter. Other control versions and/or other catalytic converters are intended solely for use on a race circuit.
Suitable for: SEAT Leon III (5F) / III (5F1), VW Golf VII (5G1).
