EGO-X 3″ exhaust system for VW Golf 7 R Facelift 310 PS (ECE)

This EGO-X exhaust system for the VW Golf 7 R Facelift is hand-built using TIG welding and features absorption silencers without chambers. The pipe diameter is 3″ (76 mm).

Exhaust valve control

If the vehicle has selectable driving profiles, the valve can be controlled through this function. On vehicles without selectable driving profiles, the supplied button can be used. The button’s LED indicates the valve status: when the light is off, the valve is open; when it is on, the valve is closed.

The Bull-X Tronic control unit provides two operating modes:

• Sport (Dynamic, Race): within the ECE approval conditions, the valve remains open while driving and is closed when stationary and between 20 and 80 km/h.
• Comfort: the valve remains closed and opens during driving, within the ECE approval conditions, from 75% throttle opening.

Road use: ECE approval applies only when the Bull-X Tronic control unit with ECE approval is selected. Legal road use also requires the combination with an EG catalytic converter. Versions with remote control, switch control or the Bull-X Tronic “Race” Can-Bus control unit, as well as other combinations without ECE approval, are intended exclusively for track use.

Only the version marked “road legal” has a European ECE / EC approval (Bull-X Tronic controller with ECE or the HJS EC catalytic converter).
