EGO-X 3″ exhaust system for VW Golf 7R Variant, Seat Leon Cupra 300 4WD OPF

This EGO-X exhaust system for the VW Golf 7R Variant with OPF and the Seat Leon Cupra 300 4WD 5F with OPF is hand-built using TIG welding and features absorption silencers without chambers. The pipe diameter is 3 inches (76 mm). The system is non-resonated and has no front or centre silencer, providing a pronounced sound with the valve open.

Note on exhaust tip selection:

• Type 14 tips (2 × 225 × 70) fit only rear diffusers with the original cut-outs for 4 exhaust tips. Enlarged cut-outs made afterwards are not suitable.
• Type 18 and Type 20 tips are designed for rear diffusers with one exhaust tip on each side. Type 14 does not fit these diffusers and must not be selected.

Exhaust valve control: If the vehicle has selectable driving profiles, the valve can be controlled via this function. For vehicles without selectable driving profiles, a supplied button can be used. Its LED indicates the valve status: the light is off when the valve is open and on when it is closed.

The Bull-X Tronic control unit offers two operating modes:

• Sport (Dynamic, Race): within the ECE-approved operating range, the valve remains open. It is also open when stationary, as the stationary noise level with the valve open does not exceed the value recorded in the vehicle documents. Between 20 and 80 km/h, the valve remains closed.
• Comfort: the valve remains closed, but opens during driving within the ECE-approved operating range when the throttle is at least 75% open.

Road use: ECE approval applies only to the combination of the Bull-X Tronic control unit with ECE approval and an EG-approved catalytic converter. Other control and/or catalytic-converter combinations are intended exclusively for use on the racetrack.

Suitable for: SEAT Leon III (5F1), VW Golf VII (5G1).

Only the version marked “road legal” has a European ECE / EC approval (Bull-X Tronic controller with ECE or the HJS EC catalytic converter).
