EGO-X 3″ exhaust system, left-side, for Seat Leon 5F 1.8 TSI 180 PS ECE

This EGO-X exhaust system for the Seat Leon 5F 1.8 TSI, with a left-side outlet, is hand-built using TIG welding. It consists of absorption silencers without chambers. The pipe diameter is 3 inches (76 mm).

Exhaust valve control

If the vehicle has drive profile selection, the valve can also be controlled through this function. For vehicles without drive profile selection, control is possible using the supplied button. The button’s LED indicates the valve status: the light is off when the valve is open and on when it is closed.

The Bull-X Tronic control unit provides two operating modes:

• Sport (Dynamic, Race): the valve remains open while driving within the limits of the ECE approval and is always closed when stationary.
• Comfort: the valve remains closed, but opens while driving within the limits of the ECE approval from 75% throttle opening.

Road use: ECE approval applies only when the Bull-X Tronic control unit with ECE approval is selected. In combination with the Bull-X Tronic control unit and an EG-approved catalytic converter, the system is permitted for use on public roads. Versions with the Bull-X Tronic “Race” control unit, switch or remote-control operation, and other combinations without ECE approval are intended for track use only.

Suitable for: SEAT Leon III (5F) / III (5F1).
