This left-side EGO-X exhaust system for the SEAT Leon 1P and Audi A3 8P Sportback is hand-built using TIG welding and features absorption silencers without chambers. The pipe diameter is 3″ (76 mm).

Exhaust valve control
If the vehicle has drive profile selection, the valve can be controlled through this system. On vehicles without drive profile selection, control is possible using the supplied switch. The switch’s LED indicates the valve status: the light is off when the valve is open and on when it is closed.
The Bull-X Tronic control unit provides two operating modes:
- Sport (Dynamic, Race): within the scope of the ECE approval, the valve remains open while driving and closed when stationary.
- Comfort: the valve remains closed, but opens within the scope of the ECE approval while driving from 75% throttle opening.
Road use: ECE approval applies only when the Bull-X Tronic control unit with ECE approval is selected and the system is used with the appropriate EG catalytic converter. In this configuration, the exhaust system is approved for public-road use without being entered in the vehicle documents. Versions with switch, remote-control or Bull-X Tronic “Race” Can-Bus control, as well as other catalytic-converter combinations, are intended exclusively for track use.

Approval
Only the version marked “road legal” has a European ECE / EC approval (Bull-X Tronic controller with ECE or the HJS EC catalytic converter). Versions marked “no ECE, track use only” have no approval and are not permitted for road use. If in doubt about the version, contact us and we will check for you.
