This left-side EGO-X exhaust system for the SEAT Leon 1P and Audi A3 8P Sportback is hand-built using the TIG welding process and features absorption silencers without chambers. The pipe diameter is 3″ (76 mm).

Valve operation
On vehicles equipped with drive profile selection, the valve can also be controlled through this function. On vehicles without drive profile selection, control is provided by the supplied button. The button’s LED indicates the valve status: the valve is open when the light is off and closed when the light is on.
In Sport (Dynamic, Race) mode, the Bull-X Tronic controller keeps the valve open while driving within the ECE approval conditions, and always closes it when stationary. In Comfort mode, the valve remains closed, but opens while driving within the permitted ECE range from 75% throttle opening.
Road use: Only the version with the Bull-X Tronic control unit with ECE approval and an EG catalytic converter is approved for use on public roads. Versions with other controllers and/or catalytic converters are intended exclusively for track use.

Approval
Only the version marked “road legal” has a European ECE / EC approval (Bull-X Tronic controller with ECE or the HJS EC catalytic converter).
