This EGO-X exhaust system for the VW Golf 6 and Golf 5 with an »R32 Look« rear end is hand-fabricated using TIG welding and consists of absorption silencers without chambers. The pipe diameter is 3 inches (76 mm).

Exhaust valve control
If the vehicle has drive profile selection, the valve can also be controlled through this function. On vehicles without drive profile selection, the supplied button is used. The button’s LED indicates the valve status: when the light is off, the valve is open; when it is on, the valve is closed.
With the Bull-X Tronic control unit, two operating modes are available:
- Sport (Dynamic, Race): the valve remains open within the permitted ECE range and is always closed when stationary.
- Comfort: the valve remains closed and opens while driving within the permitted ECE range from 75% throttle opening.
Road use: ECE approval applies only when the Bull-X Tronic control unit with ECE approval is selected and used in combination with an EG catalytic converter. Other control options and/or catalytic converters are intended exclusively for use on the race track.
Suitable for: VW Golf V (1K) / VI (5K1).

Only the version marked “road legal” has a European ECE / EC approval (Bull-X Tronic controller with ECE or the HJS EC catalytic converter).
