This EGO-X exhaust system for various Seat Leon 1P models with a UK rear conversion is hand-built using TIG welding and features absorption silencers without chambers. The pipe diameter is 3″ (76 mm).

Exhaust valve control
If the vehicle has selectable driving profiles, the valve can also be controlled through this function. For vehicles without selectable driving profiles, a supplied button is used for control. The button’s LED indicates the valve status: the valve is open when the light is off and closed when the light is on.
In Sport (Dynamic, Race) mode, the valve remains open while driving within the limits permitted by the ECE approval, but is always closed when stationary. In Comfort mode, the valve remains closed but opens while driving within the approved range once the throttle is 75% open.
Road use: ECE approval applies only when the system is combined with the Bull-X Tronic controller with ECE approval; according to the manufacturer, an EG-approved catalytic converter is also required for legal use on public roads. All other control options, including the Bull-X Tronic “Race” Can-Bus controller and switch- or remote-controlled operation, are intended for track use only.

Only the version marked “road legal” has a European ECE / EC approval (Bull-X Tronic controller with ECE or the HJS EC catalytic converter).
