EGO-X 3″ valved exhaust system for Audi A4/A5 and S4/S5 B8 1.8–3.0 TFSI

This EGO-X / Bull-X valved exhaust system for Audi A4/S4 and A5/S5 B8 models is manufactured using the MAG welding process and features absorption silencers without chambers. The pipe diameter is 3″ (76 mm).

Operation with ECE approval

ECE approval applies only to the version with the Bull-X Tronic control unit with ECE approval. In this combination, the exhaust system is suitable for road use without an entry in the vehicle documents. In Sport mode (Dynamic, Race), the valve remains open while driving within the limits of the ECE regulations and is closed when stationary. In Comfort mode, the valve remains closed and opens while driving within the approved range at 75% throttle opening. Control is possible via the driving profile selection or the supplied switch.

Version without ECE approval

Versions with valve control via switch, remote control or the Bull-X Tronic Race control unit are intended exclusively for track use. With the ECE Bull-X Tronic control unit and an EG-approved catalytic converter, the system is suitable for legal use on public roads; all other combinations of control system and/or catalytic converter are intended for racing use.

Suitable for: Audi A4 III (B8), Audi A5 I (B8), Audi S4 V (B8), Audi S5 I (8T).

Only the version marked “road legal” has a European ECE / EC approval (Bull-X Tronic controller with ECE or the HJS EC catalytic converter).
