EGO-X 3″ valved exhaust system for Audi A4/A5 and S4/S5 B8

This EGO-X / Bull-X valved exhaust system for Audi A4/S4 and A5/S5 B8 models is manufactured using MAG welding and consists of absorption silencers without chambers. The pipe diameter is 3″ (76 mm).

During driving, you can choose between Comfort and Sport modes. If the vehicle has drive profile selection, the system can be controlled through it. On vehicles without drive profile selection, control is possible via the supplied switch. The switch’s LED indicates the valve status: when the light is off, the valve is open; when the light is on, it is closed.

The Bull-X Tronic control unit offers two control options:

• Sport (Dynamic, Race): within the limits of the ECE regulations, the valve is always open. When stationary, the valve is always closed.
• Comfort mode: the valve is always closed, but opens while driving within the limits of the ECE regulations from 75% throttle opening.

Road use: ECE approval applies only when the Bull-X Tronic control unit with ECE approval is selected and used together with the EG catalytic converter. Other control units and/or catalytic converters are intended exclusively for track use.

Suitable for: Audi A4 III (B8), Audi A5 I (B8), Audi S4 V (B8), Audi S5 I (8T).

Approval

Only the version marked “road legal” has a European ECE / EC approval (Bull-X Tronic controller with ECE or the HJS EC catalytic converter).
