EGO-X 3″ valved exhaust system for Ford Focus II RS/ST Mk.2

This EGO-X / Bull-X valved exhaust system for Ford Focus Mk.2 RS and ST models is hand-built using TIG or MIG welding and features absorption silencers without chambers. The pipe diameter is 3″ (76 mm).

Road use: ECE approval applies only when the Bull-X Tronic control unit with ECE approval is selected. In combination with the ECE control unit and an EG-approved catalytic converter, the system is suitable for use on public roads. Other control options and catalytic converters are intended exclusively for racing use.

With the ECE version, you can select Comfort or Sport mode while driving. If the vehicle has selectable driving profiles, the system can be controlled through this function. Vehicles without selectable driving profiles use the supplied button. Its LED indicates the valve position: the light is off when the valve is open and on when it is closed.

The Bull-X Tronic control unit automatically closes the valve in all areas required by the ECE conditions, regardless of the selected driving mode.

Bull-X Tronic operating modes:

• Sport (Dynamic, Race): within the permitted ECE range, the valve is always open; while stationary, it is always closed.
• Comfort: the valve is always closed, but opens while driving within the permitted ECE range from 75% throttle opening.

For versions without ECE approval, control is possible via the driving-profile selection, the supplied button or a remote control, depending on the selected version. Vehicles without selectable driving profiles use the button, whose LED indicates the valve position. The version without ECE approval is intended exclusively for racing use.
