EGO-X 3″ valved exhaust system for VW Golf 7 GTI/CS, Seat Leon Cupra 265/280/290

This EGO-X / Bull-X valved exhaust system for the VW Golf 7 GTI and Seat Leon 5F Cupra is hand-built using either TIG or MIG welding, depending on the selected version. It uses absorption silencers without chambers. The pipe diameter is 3″ (76 mm).

Exhaust valve control

On vehicles equipped with drive profile selection, the valve can be controlled through the vehicle. A supplied button is used on vehicles without drive profile selection. Its LED indicates the valve status: the valve is open when the light is off and closed when the light is on.

The Bull-X Tronic controller provides two operating modes:

• Sport (Dynamic, Race): while driving, the valve remains open within the range permitted by the ECE regulations; when stationary, it remains closed.
• Comfort: the valve remains closed, but opens while driving within the range permitted by the ECE regulations once the throttle is 75% open.

Road use: ECE approval applies only to the version with the Bull-X Tronic control unit with ECE approval and an EG catalytic converter. This combination is intended for use on public roads. Versions with switch or remote-control valve operation, and the Bull-X Tronic “Race” Can-Bus version, do not have ECE approval and are intended for track use only.

Suitable for: SEAT Leon III (5F) / III (5F1), VW Golf VII (5G1).

Only the version marked “road legal” has a European ECE / EC approval (Bull-X Tronic controller with ECE or the HJS EC catalytic converter).
