This EGO-X exhaust system for Audi S4 and S5 B9 models is hand-built using TIG welding and comprises absorption silencers without chambers. The pipe diameter is initially 2x 63.5 mm from the OEM downpipes to the rear silencers, increasing to 4x 63.5 mm at the exhaust tip connections.

ECE version: ECE approval applies only when the Bull-X Tronic control unit with ECE approval is selected. If the vehicle has drive-mode selection, the system can be controlled through this function. For vehicles without drive-mode selection, a supplied button is used. The button’s LED indicates the valve position: the valve is open when the light is off and closed when the light is on.
The control unit automatically closes the valve in all areas required by the ECE approval, regardless of the selected driving mode. In Sport (Dynamic, Race) mode, the valve remains open while driving within the limits of the ECE approval, but is always closed when stationary. In Comfort mode, the valve remains closed and opens while driving within the limits of the ECE approval once the throttle is 75% open.
Road use: Only the combination of the Bull-X Tronic control unit with ECE approval and an EG catalytic converter is approved for use on public roads. Other control options and/or other catalytic converters are intended exclusively for track use.

Approval
Only the version marked “road legal” has a European ECE / EC approval (Bull-X Tronic controller with ECE or the HJS EC catalytic converter). Versions marked “no ECE, track use only” have no approval and are not permitted for road use. If in doubt about the version, contact us and we will check for you.
Exhaust tips
This exhaust system requires exhaust tips, which are not included in the price. Choose them from the Bull-X tips in our shop and add them to your basket; if unsure which fit, contact us.
