EGO-X exhaust system 3.5″ to 2x 3″ for VW Eos 1F 3.2/3.6 V6

This hand-built EGO-X exhaust system without ECE approval is designed for VW Eos 3.2 V6 and 3.6 V6 models. The pipe diameter is 3.5″ (89 mm), splitting into 2x 3″ (76 mm).

The driver controls the valves, which can also be opened manually while stationary. If the vehicle has selectable driving profiles or a sport button, control can also be provided through this function. If the vehicle does not have selectable driving profiles, control is provided by the supplied button. The button’s LED indicates the current valve position: the valve is open when the light is off and closed when the light is on.

If the Bull-X Tronic control unit is purchased separately, the valve can still be opened while stationary, while the control unit regulates the exhaust valve during driving in accordance with ECE requirements. Bull-X Tronic provides two control modes:

• Sport (Dynamic, Race)
• Comfort (the valve opens from 75% throttle position)

Road use: This exhaust system has no ECE approval and is intended exclusively for track use. Of the available catalytic converters, only the HJS catalytic converter with EG approval is permitted for public road use; all other catalytic converters and decat pipes are intended exclusively for racing use.
