Einparts 2-in-1 LED bulbs combine a daytime running light (DRL) and an indicator in a single light source. According to the manufacturer, they shine white (6000 K) in DRL mode and switch automatically to orange when the indicator is switched on.

According to the manufacturer, DRL mode works at two brightness levels, 100% and 30%, and a soft start function makes the light build up gradually. The CANbus system is intended to reduce the risk of bulb-failure errors on vehicles with bulb monitoring.
The PY21W version (BAU15s base) is intended to replace original bulbs of the same type. The bulbs suit light units in which the same light source performs both the daytime running light and the indicator function. Important: LED replacements for signal bulbs (W5W, P21W …) carry no ECE approval. They are fine for interior lighting; they are not permitted in exterior lamps of road vehicles.
