Einparts LED bulbs W5W CANbus 15× SMD 4014, pair

Pairs of Einparts LED bulbs with a W5W socket and a W2.1×9.5d base in several versions. The voltage is 12 V. Each bulb has 15 LEDs of type SMD 4014.

Both bulbs have a built-in CANbus decoder which, according to the manufacturer, is intended to prevent bulb-failure errors on the instrument panel. The housing is made of aluminium, which the manufacturer says also acts as a heat sink.

Typical uses of the W5W socket: side (position) lights, number plate light, interior lighting, glove box lighting, boot lighting, instrument lighting. Important: LED replacements for signal bulbs (W5W, P21W …) carry no ECE approval. They are fine for interior lighting; they are not permitted in exterior lamps of road vehicles.
