The Octopus LED bulbs have a passive cooling system with special copper heat sinks in the form of an “octopus tentacle”. The heat sinks are flexible and can be shaped, and they remove heat without a fan. The integrated CANbus decoder is meant to prevent bulb-out warnings and radio interference.

The stated lifetime of up to 50,000 hours is the manufacturer’s figure. Because the heat sinks bend, they are easier to fit into the limited space behind the headlight, but still check the available room before ordering.
You choose the socket (H1, H4, H7, H11, H13, H16, HB3, HB4, HB5 or HIR2) and the colour temperature (6000 K or 4300 K) in the drop-down list on the product page; the HIR2 socket is available in 6000 K only.
Before ordering, compare the socket marking on your existing bulb and check that there is enough room behind the headlight for the heat sink and the bulb body. Even though the bulbs are marked as CANbus, some vehicles may still show a bulb-failure warning on the dashboard.
Important: This product has no ECE approval for use in headlamps on public roads. It is intended for off-road, competition or show use. Fitting it to a halogen headlamp of a vehicle used on public roads is not permitted in Slovenia (Slovenian Traffic Safety Agency). The buyer is responsible for installation and use.
