Forge Motorsport adjustable turbocharger actuator for Rover 2.0 Turbo

The actuator is intended for Rover 2.0-litre turbo engines.

The Forge Motorsport replacement aluminium actuator is made from 6026-grade aluminium. It allows more precise adjustment and control of boost pressure, resulting in improved turbocharger response and operating control.

The actuator is supplied with a standard spring as standard. On request, it can be assembled with a stronger spring for modified vehicles and the use of higher boost pressure. The standard version uses diaphragm sealing, while piston sealing is also available. The piston version provides comparable performance and requires less maintenance thanks to its more durable internal components.

The actuator is designed to increase the turbocharging system’s output boost pressure, but the actual setting depends on the limitations of the standard or aftermarket engine management system. Before selecting a spring, check that the engine and associated systems can withstand the required boost pressure.

All actuator rods are made from 303-grade stainless steel.

The listed spring pressures according to the colour markings describe only the mechanical aspect of operation and primarily apply to older turbo engines without ECU or solenoid valve control. On modern engines with ECU or solenoid valve control, the mechanical spring specification does not necessarily correspond to the target boost pressure. Consult a qualified tuner when selecting the correct spring for the intended level of modification.

The actuator is fitted with a standard spring. For the FMPACTUN spring adjustment kit, select the Diaphragm Type 2, 049 option. This option belongs to the T2 spring range (FMAS049).
