Forge Motorsport adjustable turbocharger actuator for SEAT Ibiza II (6K2) 1.8T

This actuator is intended for the SEAT Ibiza II (6K2) with a 1.8T engine and transversely mounted engine.

Forge Motorsport manufactures two-piece replacement aluminium turbocharger actuators from machined material. This design allows more precise adjustment and control of boost pressure according to the vehicle’s requirements.

Important:

The spring pressure values listed for the individual colour codes are the minimum regulated pressure values.

The actuator is supplied as standard with a spring suitable for the factory boost pressure or slightly above it. For vehicles with more extensive modifications and higher boost pressure, a stronger spring can be fitted on request. The actuator is designed to increase the turbocharger system’s boost pressure output, but the setting must always remain within the limits of the engine control system – whether standard or aftermarket.

The standard version uses an internal diaphragm seal, while a piston-sealed version is also available. The piston version provides comparable operation and requires less maintenance due to the durability of the piston valve.

The actuator is supplied as standard with a spring with a green code marking. To use the FMPACTUN spring kit from the related products, select the Diaphragm Type 2, 049 version.

All actuator rods are made from 303-grade stainless steel.

The stated spring pressure according to the colour codes refers only to the mechanical part and applies primarily to older turbocharged engines where boost pressure is not controlled by the ECU and solenoid valve.

On modern engines controlled via the ECU or solenoid valve, the target boost pressure does not need to be directly equated with the mechanical specification of the spring offered. If you are unsure about the correct spring choice for your vehicle and planned modification stage, consult a qualified engine tuning specialist.
