With the new version of the “FMDV004” model, Forge Motorsport has improved an already proven design. The upgraded twin-piston operation provides a faster response and a pronounced charge-air release sound when you lift the throttle. A comprehensive installation kit is included, allowing you to easily replace the original recirculation valve with this compact atmospheric dump valve.

All Forge Motorsport atmospheric valves with twin-piston operation are designed to release 100% of the remaining charge air from the forced-induction system into the atmosphere when the throttle is lifted. Although the design incorporates several solutions for compatibility with vehicles equipped with an air-flow meter, compatibility with a valve that vents charge air to the atmosphere cannot be guaranteed in every application.

On vehicles whose factory-fitted or aftermarket engine management system cannot compensate for the loss of metered air caused by an atmospheric valve, unwanted effects may occur after installation.
