We recommend servicing the valve every 3 years or 20,000 miles, whichever comes first.

This blow-off or dump valve is designed for the 2.0-litre Mercedes GDi turbo engine, also fitted to the CLA250, which uses an electronically controlled diverter valve. It is recommended for vehicles where boost pressure has been increased with an ECU software upgrade, as well as for unmodified vehicles operating in warmer climates. It provides a solution to many failures of the original rubber diaphragm, which can split and cause a loss of boost pressure.

A failure does not always trigger the engine warning light, as the boost pressure may still open the valve. Therefore, you may not notice that you are losing power as a result.

Forge Motorsport has developed a technically advanced solution with significantly greater reliability. The valve uses a piston mechanism without a diaphragm that could fail and is made entirely from aluminium. It replaces the original assembly with a piston valve that operates under pressure and vacuum, while retaining the desired factory ECU-controlled valve opening.

All parts required for installation are included together with complete fitting instructions.

The valve is intended for vehicles with M270/M274 engines and an electronically controlled diverter valve. Before installation, check that your vehicle’s version matches the compatibility table.
