The Forge Motorsport blow-off valve adaptor is designed for Mercedes A180, A250, CLA 250 and GLA 250 vehicles with the M270/M274 engine.
The spacer is designed to create the characteristic atmospheric blow-off valve (BOV) sound, which is usually absent with the standard turbocharger. CNC-machined from a solid piece of aluminium, the spacer creates a distinctive and recognisable air-release sound when the throttle is lifted.
The adaptor is designed for use with the original electronically controlled solenoid and uses high-quality O-ring seals for reliable sealing. The standard Mercedes turbocharger valve operates by recirculation, directing charge air from the turbocharger outlet side back to the intake side. When using the Forge adaptor, the air is instead vented to the atmosphere. The kit includes everything required for installation.
