Forge Motorsport blow-off valve for BMW 1 Series F20/F21 M135i N55

We recommend servicing the valve every 3 years or 20.000 miles, whichever comes first.

This blow-off or dump valve is designed for BMW 135/235 models with the N55 3.0 Turbo engine from 2012–2013, which use a pneumatic wastegate (PWG) and electronically controlled diverter valves. It is recommended for vehicles with increased boost pressure due to ECU software upgrades, as well as unmodified vehicles operating in warmer climates, as it eliminates common failures of the original valve.

A failure does not always trigger the engine warning light, as the valve can open due to boost pressure without this being detected. This can consequently lead to a loss of power because the diaphragm no longer seals correctly.

Forge Motorsport has developed a more reliable solution with a piston valve without a diaphragm that could fail. The valve is made entirely from aluminium and replaces the original part. It operates with pressure or vacuum while retaining the desired factory control of the valve operation via the ECU.

• 1 × 3.000 mm vacuum hose, 4 mm diameter
• 1 × 100 mm vacuum hose, 6 mm diameter
• 1 × 50 mm vacuum hose, 6 mm diameter
• 1 × solenoid, bracket and bolts

• 1 × reinforced blue spring
• 1 × 8-4-8 T-piece
