Forge Motorsport E-DV – electronic solution for atmospheric discharge
The Forge Motorsport E-DV is an electronic diverter valve for selected Audi, Cupra, Seat, Škoda and VW models with 1.8 TSI and 2.0 TSI engines. It is a solution designed and manufactured in the United Kingdom that combines electronic control with simple installation.
Key features
- Direct installation: The E-DV is designed as a 100% direct-fit solution without external solenoids or complex vacuum lines. Installation involves 3 bolts, connecting the plug and securing the mini wiring harness neatly.
- High-quality construction: It is made from certified aircraft-grade aluminium, machined from a single piece of material.
- Fast response: Compared with original solutions, it provides faster response and improved flap response. The construction is designed to prevent leaks and does not cause issues with the engine warning light (EML).
- Hybrid venting: It allows venting to atmosphere without interfering with the operation of the modern original engine control unit (ECU).
- 360° adjustable position: The valve can be rotated through 360° during installation, allowing it to be adapted to the available space and surrounding components.
- Integrated electronic pilot valve: The electronic pilot valve has been tested in various international racing applications.
- Serviceable design: The E-DV can be disassembled and serviced, allowing maintenance and long-term use.
- No compressor surge: The design is intended to prevent compressor surge, or compressor pressure surges.
The Forge Motorsport E-DV is based on almost 30 years of diverter valve development and manufacturing.
