Replacement turbocharger actuator for the Saab 900 and Saab 9-3. Its piston design gives it a longer service life than the original diaphragm actuator. The actuator can be adapted to your requirements using the different springs available.
It uses the original mounting bracket, which is not included. It is suitable for the Saab 900 2.0T and Saab 9-3 2.0T with T25/T28 turbochargers manufactured from 1994 to 1999.
The product is supplied with a pre-set actuator spring suitable for standard boost pressure or slightly higher boost pressure. An assembly with a stiffer spring is also available.
All actuator rods are made from 303-grade stainless steel.
Please note that the stated spring pressure for the individual colour markings describes only the mechanical aspect of operation. This applies to older turbocharged engines where boost pressure is not controlled by the engine control unit (ECU) or solenoid valve.
On modern engines with control via the ECU or solenoid valve, the target boost pressure does not need to correspond exactly to the spring’s mechanical specification. If you are unsure about the correct spring choice for your model and planned level of modification, consult a qualified tuner.
For the T2 spring range (FMAS049), check compatibility with the vehicle.
