Forge Motorsport recirculating valve for Toyota Yaris GR/Corolla GR

This recirculating valve was developed for the Toyota Yaris GR turbo engine with an electronically controlled bypass valve (OE part no. 7.04654.08). It is recommended for vehicles where boost pressure has been increased with an ECU software upgrade, as well as unmodified vehicles operating in warmer climates, as it eliminates problems caused by frequent failures of the original valve. A failure does not always trigger the engine warning light, as boost pressure can still open the valve. The driver may therefore not notice that this is causing a loss of power, as the diaphragm no longer provides a seal.

The Forge valve is available in an atmospheric version, which produces a characteristic sound when lifting off the accelerator pedal, or as a factory-designed quiet recirculating valve.

The Forge solution is based on a piston rather than a diaphragm that could fail. The valve is made from one-piece aluminium and replaces the original component with a pressure- or vacuum-operated piston valve. At the same time, it retains the desired control of valve operation via the original ECU.

The kit includes:

• 1 × FMDV34 valve
• 2.5 m of 4 mm diameter vacuum hose
• 1 × brass T-piece for 4 mm diameter hose
• 1 × 3-port solenoid with brackets
• 10 × cable ties
• 1 × reinforced red spring
• 1 × wiring harness
• 1 × Forge instructions on a USB stick
• 1 × Forge key ring and sticker
