The Forge Motorsport recirculation valve is designed as a direct replacement for the original valve, which is prone to failure on tuned engines or engines with upgraded software. The valve is assembled and ready to install, so no additional fitting kit is required.
It is supplied with a green-marked spring suitable for standard or mildly modified engines, as well as a reinforced yellow-marked spring. On Vauxhall Astra vehicles, the valve is suitable for 1.6T, 2.0T VXR and 2.0T engines, while on the Corsa it is suitable for the 1.6T VXR engine. The supplier’s data also lists compatibility with the Z16LER engine in the Vauxhall Corsa VXR, as well as the Z20LET engine in Vauxhall/Opel Astra G or H and Zafira A or B vehicles. It is also suitable for the Bentley Continental GT 2003–2011.

It is recommended that the valve be serviced every 3 years or every 20,000 miles, whichever comes first.
Fitting note: on some models, removing the original mounting bolts is easier if the short arm of a suitable Allen key is shortened to 10 mm.
