This product replaces the original OE part number 1K0 711 046M.
After installation, the short shifter shortens the gear lever travel, allowing faster gear changes during sporty driving. Thanks to the infinitely adjustable rotary mechanism, the gear ratio can be tailored to your preferences.
The kit is suitable for VW, Audi, SEAT and Škoda (VAG) vehicles with transverse 5-speed gearboxes, manufactured from 2000 onwards.
Two pin sizes and one ball end are included, allowing adjustment to the different gear cables used in these vehicles.
The kit is also suitable for 6-speed gearboxes in 1.4-litre Twincharged engines in the Golf Mk5, Golf Mk6 and Scirocco models. On these vehicles, it replaces the original part with part number 1K0 711 046M.
Not suitable for vehicles with an engine with code AGU.
