Forge Motorsport developed a compact V-mount design for the limited space around the original side-mount intercooler. The intercooler is intended for the Mercedes A45 AMG with the 2.0L M133 engine, and its core surface area is increased by 43.5% compared with the original part.
It is equipped with CNC-machined OE-style connections for direct connection to the existing intercooler coolant hoses. The hoses do not need to be cut, and the connections do not need to be removed.
The laser-cut intercooler frame attaches to the original air ducts and uses the cold-air feed from the front bumper.
