The aluminium side-mount intercooler is designed as a replacement for the original intercooler. The construction allows easy installation, while the inside of the end tanks is shaped for good airflow.
Compared with the original intercooler, the dimensions are increased by 27 mm × 5 mm × 15 mm. The larger cooling surface improves charge-air cooling, while pressure losses are reduced by 2 psi.
