The kit includes two Forge Motorsport turbocharger actuators for the Noble M12M40. They allow more precise adjustment and control of boost pressure, which can improve turbocharger response and control.
The actuators are made from 6026-grade aluminium, while the actuator rods are made from 303-grade stainless steel. They are supplied as standard with a spring for factory or slightly higher boost pressures; a stronger spring is also available for modified vehicles.

Diaphragm sealing is the standard configuration for this actuator, while piston sealing is also available. The piston version provides comparable performance and requires less maintenance thanks to the durability of the piston seal.
The actuator is supplied as standard with the factory spring. For the FMPACTUN spring adjustment kit, the Diaphragm Type 2, 049 version must be selected. The designation for the T2 spring series is FMAS049.
The stated spring pressures represent the minimum regulated pressures. On older turbo engines without regulation via the ECU or a solenoid valve, they refer to the mechanical operation of the spring. On modern engines with regulation via the ECU or a solenoid valve, the target boost pressure does not necessarily correspond directly to the mechanical spring specification.
