The Forge Motorsport turbocharger actuator is designed as a replacement for the original actuator on Renault Megane 225/230 and Megane RS 250/265/275 models.
Forge Motorsport has developed a two-piece replacement aluminium actuator with a machined housing. It enables precise adjustment and control of the required boost pressure, helping to improve turbocharger response and provide more stable operation.

The actuator is supplied as standard with a spring for factory-level boost pressure or slightly above it. A stronger spring is also available for modified vehicles and higher boost pressure.
The diaphragm-sealed internals are the standard design, while piston sealing is also available. The piston design offers comparable performance and less demanding maintenance thanks to the durable piston seal construction.
The actuator is intended to increase or more precisely regulate the boost pressure of the turbocharger system. Compatibility and the achievable pressure depend on the specific turbocharger and the settings of the standard or upgraded engine control unit. Before using a stronger spring, check that the engine, turbocharger and related systems can withstand the higher boost pressure.
On older turbocharged engines without electronic or solenoid control, the stated spring pressure relates directly to mechanical operation. On modern engines with ECU or solenoid control, the mechanical spring value does not necessarily correspond to the target boost pressure. When selecting the correct spring, the specific model and planned level of modification must therefore be taken into account.
The standard design uses the standard spring. For the spring adjustment kit FMPACTUN, select the Diaphragm Type 2, 049 option.
