Forge Motorsport turbocharger actuator for Volvo S60 I/V70 II

The Forge Motorsport actuator is intended for models with a K24 turbocharger:

• Volvo S60R, 2004–2007, B5254T4 engine, 2.5L AWD, 300 hp
• Volvo V70R, 2004–2007, B5254T4 engine, 2.5L AWD, 300 hp
• Volvo S60 T5, 2005–2007, B5244T5 engine, 2.4L FWD, 260 hp
• Volvo V70 T5, 2005–2007, B5244T5 engine, 2.4L FWD, 260 hp

The actuator is made as a two-piece replacement from machined 6026-grade aluminium. It enables more precise adjustment and control of the required boost pressure, which can improve turbocharger response and control.

The standard version uses diaphragm sealing. Piston sealing is also available, providing comparable performance and less maintenance due to its more durable internal construction.

The stated spring values represent the minimum regulated pressure. On older turbocharged engines without regulation via the ECU or solenoid, these values relate directly to the mechanical operation of the spring. On modern engines with regulation via the ECU or solenoid, the mechanical spring value is not necessarily equal to the target boost pressure. When choosing a spring, consider the condition of the engine, the software being used and the planned level of modification.

The actuator is equipped as standard with a green-coded spring. For the FMPACTUN adjustable spring kit, select the Diaphragm Type 2, 049 version. For the T2 spring range, the designation FMAS049 is specified.
