Forge Motorsport turbocharger actuators for Lotus V8

Pair of serviceable replacement actuators for the Lotus V8 twin turbocharger. The existing mounting brackets must be reused during installation.

The factory version is fitted with the standard spring. Installing a Forge Motorsport actuator enables more precise adjustment and regulation of the required boost pressure, which can improve responsiveness and control. For modified engines, a stronger spring can be used on request when higher boost pressure is required.

The diaphragm-sealed internal configuration is the standard version of this actuator, while a piston-sealed internal configuration is also available. The piston version offers comparable operation and requires less maintenance due to the material’s resistance to wear.

All actuator rods are manufactured from 303-grade stainless steel.

The stated spring pressures according to the colour markings refer only to the mechanical aspect of operation and are primarily useful for older turbocharged engines that are not regulated via the ECU or solenoid. On modern engines with regulation via the ECU or solenoid, the target boost pressure does not necessarily correspond to the spring’s mechanical specification. When selecting the correct spring, consider the engine, regulation method and planned level of modification.

For T2 springs (FMAS049), the Diaphragm Type 2, 049 configuration must be selected to use the FMPACTUN spring adjustment kit.
