GFB D-Force – electronic boost controller for diesel engines

D-Force is a dedicated boost controller for diesel engines with turbochargers that use a conventional wastegate, and not for VNT (Variable Nozzle Turbine, or variable-geometry vane turbine) turbochargers. It enables precise control of boost pressure rise and peak boost pressure.

Precise boost pressure control

D-Force enables boost pressure adjustment for different driving conditions. You can set the pressure rise rate, maximum pressure and closed-loop control correction. 6 presets with different parameters are available, which can be activated while driving or by pressing a button.

The scramble boost function uses a dedicated preset in which you can set the maximum pressure, pressure rise rate and closed-loop control. When activated, boost pressure can be increased or decreased, while the pressure build-up rate and correction can also be changed. Activation can be carried out via the display or auxiliary input, to which you can connect a switch, button, warning light or engine control unit output.

The controller can also display exhaust gas temperature (EGT) and trigger an adjustable warning. An additional EGT module with a stainless steel EGT probe and welding bung for the exhaust system is required for this. The module connects to the controller wiring and is available as part of kit 3007 or separately under part number 3830.
