More performance and adjustable venting sound

GFB DVX is based on the popular DV+ diverter valve and has been upgraded with two venting outlets and a system for adjusting the venting ratio. It provides better boost pressure retention and faster throttle response, while also allowing complete control over the volume of the valve sound.

How does DVX differ from other valves that produce the characteristic “whoosh”?

The GFB DV+ design eliminates the service-life and boost pressure leakage issues that are common with factory diverter valves. Its operating method is changed to so-called pilot actuation, ensuring better performance on both standard and modified engines.

DVX retains the parts of the factory system that work well and replaces its weaker elements, so there is no need to replace the entire diverter valve system.

Which models is it intended for?

T9659 is a direct replacement for the factory dual-venting diverter valve for the VW Golf 7 R and Audi S3 8V.

Why not use a spacer alone?

There are many BOV spacers on the market that create sound, but they do so by using the factory diverter valve and redirecting air into the atmosphere. The shortcomings of the factory valve design therefore remain, while the small openings in such spacers also significantly reduce its flow capacity.

ECU or vacuum control

Other BOV kits completely remove ECU control and use only vacuum from the intake manifold. This operating method is common with most BOV valves, but ECU control is considerably faster because it detects and responds to even the smallest changes in throttle position.

Unique venting ratio adjustment system

An internal rotary sleeve enables stepless adjustment of the opening of the return port and the atmospheric venting port. The ratio is therefore not limited to 50/50 or 100% atmospheric venting, but can be adjusted as desired.

Because the atmospheric outlet has one large opening instead of several small holes, the venting sound is deeper and louder than when using a BOV spacer. The volume can be adjusted from almost inaudible, similar to the factory sound, to very loud.
